    We love Capital Grill but last night was a pretty crazy experience... someone had called a bomb threat into the police @ The Boca Raton Mall where they are located and they were not even letting us into the parking lot. We managed to get in and went to the restaurant. Had drinks, a lot of their delicious bread and butter and a shrimp cocktail, but the situation kept evolving and the restaurant management was forced to ask us to evacuate. The management as well as our server were great and professional and helpful but it was a huge disappointment to not be able to stay for dinner.

    Our server Kristy was great! Unfortunately the kitchen sent out two burgers significantly over temperature (Requested Med-Rare, Served Med-Well) which never should have happened. Have to say that the manager did come to the table and handled the situation perfectly.

    As many times as I try to enjoy this restaurant, I just cannot. The food is mediocre, the service last night was miserable and they serve warm wine.

    We live in San Francisco and come to Boca twice a year to visit family. We make it a point to eat at The Capital Grille as we have had past excellent experience. This time we were disappointed specifically how we were greeted and treated by both the manager and receptionist. When we arrived, the receptionist was not available, and the manager was on the telephone at the reception desk. The manager did not look up, did not acknowledge us, and continued making phone calls. Finally the receptionist arrived and asked if we were checking in. Because I travel with a service animal, the receptionist was uncomfortable and had to consult with the manager. They left the reception area and went to the back and obviously talked in private. They were fairly cool and not welcoming and made certain statements regarding the suitability of my service dog. Usually we are well greeted and welcomed at this restaurant, but that was not the case this time. We were very close to walking out due to the way we were treated upfront. However, once we sat down, we experienced the usual excellent wait service and attentiveness. The food and service thereafter were excellent as always. It is very disconcerting to not receive a warm welcome at a restaurant, such as this, and rather to be treated within difference , and, and my opinion, a degree of disrespect. Your mileage might vary.

    Capital Grille is truly my favorite steakhouse and we have lots to choose from in this area!

    Atmosphere was good. Overpriced as with all restaurants of this caliber. Overall a good time was had as it was for my son's birthday
