Although, yes ... it feels a little expensive, the food is wonderful! We had Pizza with big lovely pieces of chicken, and a Caesar Salad with Salmon. I always order Brussels sprouts - that are superb! It was all just fabulous! Our server (Brooke) was a lovely server and had the sweetest personality that made the whole experience perfect for us. She is an asset to their establishment and they are lucky to have her!

We were looking forward to a nice dinner but two of the people in our party are allergic to fresh garlic. We went early and were the only diners in the restaurant at the time. The chef offered to do a salt and pepper pork chop on the grill. If we wanted boring we could have done that at home. I was appalled that he wouldn’t be able to do something a little more interesting especially since there was no one else there at the time! We left without ordering food and won’t be back!

Campfire Grill has so much potential, but on both nights we ate there, they struggled. Service was fine and for how remote you are, was actually pretty decent. They get almost all of their reservations within a 15-minute window, which they should really better control. Also the majority of their tables are tables of 8 are more, which will easily clog down a kitchen. Pizza's were undercooked the first night, and the trout and burgers overcooked the next night. I know it is probably tough to find staff, but easy protocols could really help this place right the ship.

The pork chops were wonderful. Our server was great. The only problem is the small metal chairs. We found them extremely uncomfortable which made it hard to enjoy our meal. In fact, because of the chairs we decided not to go back the next morning.
