Transport yourself into a magical fairytale and prepare for an unforgettable experience. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate your birthday, to have an elegant lunch, or romantic dinner our beautifully decorated cake shop is the perfect place. Please note, for Afternoon Tea reservations, please contact our Events team directly.

Delicious three-layer cakes, as well as cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts fill our elegantly designed display case and are served daily. For the savory side, we offer an expanded lunch and dinner menu featuring some traditional dishes as well as our signature quiche and chicken salad. Our menu changes seasonally, to ensure every experience is a new one. Everything on our menu is house made from scratch daily with our commitment to the highest quality and ingredients. Gwendolyn's Cake Bake Shop has become the destination of Indianapolis for celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and all life's special occasions.

    It was the 1st time at Cake Bake for myself and a dear friend who is just finishing up chemo. I asked our amazing server Gigi to help celebrate my friend being cancer free. Gigi and the staff went above and beyond. They brought out balloons and a card and made my friend feel like the queen she is. The food and ambience was amazing. We were both touched at the service and attention we received. Thank you Gigi and Cake Bake. Can't wait to come back! Detra and Jenny🩷

    When to the Cake Bake shop in Broad Ripple. Had lunch special samdwhich, soup and salad. Was delicious. Service was excellent.

    Our Waitress GiGi was the sweetest and really connected with my niece and her friend talking Prom Dresses. She couldn’t have been sweeter. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was great

    5 Stars – A Sweet Valentine’s Treat! I stopped by Cake Bake Shop on Valentine’s Day, and it was absolutely magical! The atmosphere was beautifully decorated, creating the perfect romantic setting. The cakes were not only stunning but also incredibly delicious—each bite was rich, moist, and full of flavor. The staff was warm and welcoming, making the experience even more special. Whether you’re celebrating love or just treating yourself, this place is a must-visit.     10/10 would recommend. Great enviorment for a peaceful date after an energetic week. It was amazing to just settle down and chat without worry about not being able hear the other person.

    Great experience. The staff is very friendly and fun, and the whole environment feels like a theme park experience. The cakes are delicious, so while the prices are high, you get what you pay for, and it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or if you just need the best piece of cake you could possibly get. This location is a bit small and cramped, but it's still decorated very thoughtfully and pretty; the ambiance and theming is excellent. I recommend the Raspberry Champaign Cake and the Carrot Cake, but I don't think you can miss. Oh, and the Coconut Latte blew my mind, if you like coconut and espresso!

    Valentine’s Day was pretty busy but they spaced out the reservations so we weren’t crammed in. Love it!

    Such a beautiful place to be with friends and family. The only issue I had was that the waiter told us as soon as we sat down that there was another booking after us so keep that in mind. We were not expecting her to tell us to hurry up in a subtle way but made us feel uneasy. Other than that it is an amazing place and the waiter is not a reflection of the rest of the staff nor location.
