The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, bar, juicery, and “vegetable slaughterhouse." We treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: We chop, fillet, and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices. Our five locations serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. We take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian, with many vegan and gluten-free options.

The patio was shady and cool. The staff were cool but not shady! Everything was delicious and pretty, too. I have to come back with hubby. The menu has lots of vegan options, but also things with eggs and dairy, so that it is more broadly vegetarian, and the chilaquiles just might be hubby's thing. I have to try the lemon lavender waffle. My spicy kale salad and cheddar chile biscuits were the bomb.

I love Butchers Daughter and frequent it when I’m in LA. Today for some reason they were off. The juices were great as were the coffees and biscuits but the breakfast sandwiches were a bit greasy today. Everyone has an off day, and today was just that. I will go back and not order that again

Our reservation was 08:30 am. The food was good but service was slow. It was a little disappointing visit because we were celebrating Father’s Day.
