The tea room is beautiful, the ambiance is lovely. It was very quiet considering how busy it was. The waitress was friendly and very informative.

We had a reservation for 1pm, didn’t get seated until 1:15 then had to wait another 20 minutes before our server even came to our table. Had to ask for water since no one bothered to check on us. The tea was delicious and the desserts too. The sandwiches weren’t very good. Overall the whole experience was just okay mostly due to the poor service.

Great afternoon tea as usual and a great view of the beautiful gardens. This is part of our routine every time we visit Victoria and it's a better value than the Fairmont Empress tea.

Our server Pilar was not only super efficient and knowledgeable but she was so sweet! Highly recommended High Tea at The Dining Room while at The Gardens.
