Bienvenue au Bull de Brentwood ! Vous serez accueilli chaleureusement dans ce pub gastronomique très confortable à l’ambiance conviviale. La famille qui gère et exploite ce restaurant travaille avec passion afin de proposer à sa clientèle une gamme de produits faits maison, et élaborés à partir d’ingrédients de qualité, comme par exemple les rares viandes de race, qui vous surprendront par leur saveur. La production locale est privilégiée. Le menu change au gré des saisons et les portions sont généreuses. Les divers plats du jour changent chaque semaine. La carte des vins est vraiment large, vous y trouverez à coup sûr ce que vous cherchez. Ajoutez à cela un personnel très accueillant et à votre écoute. Le restaurant dispose d’un menu à la carte. Pour les petites faims, le bar vous propose des alternatives plus légères. Sachez que chaque dimanche, vous pouvez venir tester un menu unique incluant toujours un très bon rôti en guise de plat principal. En plus du restaurant superbement décoré, l’établissement dispose d’un bar lounge très confortable, ainsi que d’un petit jardin extérieur équipé d’une aire de jeux pour les enfants. Les divers espaces sont accessibles librement, que ce soit pour se détendre autour d’un verre entre amis ou pour déguster un des meilleurs plats disponibles !                                                               I had an amazing time at The Bull Pub! A big thank you to Megan for the warm and friendly service. The Korean wings were absolutely delicious, and the chicken pie and pork belly were spot on. We had a fantastic meal, and we’ll definitely be back again. Thanks once more!

                                                              We regularly use The Bull for lunch or dinner and are always satisfied and happy with both service and food. Yesterday's experience was a shock to say the least. I can only suspect a change in chef. My starter of leek and potato soup was over salted and I strongly suspect was not home made. It was bright green in colour and resembled a pea soup, although nothing could be tasted beyond the salt. Cauliflower wings equally over salted and not due purely to the use of soy which we were told was the reason for it. To be fair an exchange was offered and 50% of each starter subtracted from our bill. Main courses, thin sauces, again over salted and uninspiring. Cabbage almost raw, gnocchi tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed was the salmon fillet which was cooked well and enjoyable. The whole experience was not good, service was slow and we were all disappointed. We'll try again in a few months time when hopefully things will have reverted to normal

                                                              Food is good, but four people in the dining room, four waitresses but scant detail applied to service. It might have been quiet, but that is no excuse to stand and gaggle and forget your clients

                                                              When we arrived we were sort of sent through to the main restaurant no one greeted us there and when we did speak do someone they told us to go and sit at the end table over there - they didn’t even take us we just hoped we sat at the right one! The waitress came over with menus and told us that a couple of items weren’t available so we ordered something else and noticed that one of the items arrived at a couple of tables that were seated after us. The food was ok, however a different waitress came over when I was mid mouthful to ask if she could clear the table! Overall not a great experience some of the staff were miserable looking and couldn’t be bothered and it’s very expensive for just a pub meal. The menu hasn’t changed in ages either so it’s the same old thing. We booked last minute and used to go a lot but won’t be going back there any time soon unfortunately.

                                                              We booked for a family celebration meal, menu was great catered for everyone, loads of choices and all excellent meals. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable, thanks for a great meal!

                                                              Had a lovely birthday lunch on Sunday. Service was great and the food was excellent. Good for family as they have a play area for the kids too.
