    Friday evening supper with friends. Great table in the garden. Service was excellent, as always. Great food. My paella was delicious. Lovely Friday evening.

    Lovely meal and service as always. Beef was very tasty. My only suggestion is more veg (non potato) with the roast.otherwise fab!

    We went back 2 weeks after our wedding lunch reception and the food and service were every bit as good once again. Well done The Bobbin!

    Can't fault the service or food at the Bobbin, but we were seated near a large and increasingly noisy table and our 1 year old had to leave with his mother before the meal was over because it was all too hectic. Knowing we had a little one and there was this big booking in the same part of the pub, they probably should have put us elsewhere. Excellent Italian wine with the meal almost made up for it!

    We always enjoy The Bobbin and this was no different - for a start, great when you can still get a Sunday Roast at 7.30pm!! The service seemed a little inattentive but ultimately I think they were just really short staffed. The early evening ambience was a curious mix of families alongside younger groups, some of whom seemed to be in a battle to see who could be heard loudest. The food, as always, was great. Between us we had one beef roast, one lamb roast, and a salmon. Generous portions, really tasty food. Even in these days where cost of living is high, I find myself asking if I want to be paying £26 for a roast dinner but that’s my choice to make. We’ll be back because we always enjoy it.

    Great food and good value. Service was good to start with but they definitely forgot about our whole area of the restaurant after most people had eaten - so it became poor Noise level was too high to hear the person sitting diagonally opposite - we suggest some soft furnishings

    Brilliant! staff fantastic, even though my mum asked about 400 questions. You can tell they really spend time and energy on their Sunday roasts. Simply fantastic!

    The Bobbin’s menu never disappoints. It keeps setting the bar higher and higher for itself. Aside from that it’s just a lovely pub with great ambiance.
