We decided to give the boathouse restaurant a try during Lake George’s restaurant week. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this fabulous restaurant. The views of Lake George were incredible. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will be back soon.

Beautiful lakeside setting but not much else. Food was below standard. Caesar salad was awful—soggy lettuce and way too much dressing. It was inedible. Stuffed sole had an unappealing sauce on top and was served with vegetables that were extremely overdone. My suggestion would be to go to the bar, have a drink and enjoy the scenery then find someplace else to eat.

Great location ….viewing Lake George. Our meals were solid not exceptional . This restaurant provides a great experience because of its beautiful location and terrific service.

We enjoyed our dinner and found the experience to be superior to other restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly and we were accommodated with a table that was quieter with a view. The lake view was stunning. The food was solidly good but not exceptional and better than most in a town not really known for fine dining. I would happily return if back in the area.

We had a great evening at the Boathouse Restaurant. The food was delicious. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere was picturesque and relaxing! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Service is SLOWWW! It doesn't matter if you have a reservation or not, you will have to wait 30+ min for a table, and this is for 3 pm on Sunday. This place need to hire more staffs. Their servers seem very busy. Nice location, food is surpar, service can be improved.

We thought we would have a wonderful experience at this water side restaurant, but were sadly disappointed. We followed the google map directions to address posted, but the restaurant is hidden. We arrived 10 mins late, but called and they said it was okay. After having to wait 30 more minutes for our table, we were seated below the main dining area, on the water. It was a nice area, but the table next to us was a group of UNSUPERVISED young teens and kids. They were loud and obnoxious throughout our dinner, and when we complained, they let us know their parents were seated upstairs in the dining room. VERY disappointed to go out with adults and have to babysit other people’s children. INAPPROPRIATE! Our dinners were just average.

We were lucky enough to get a seat in the gazebo and it was just stunning views. Service was quite slow but expected on a holiday weekend. Food was excellent! Highly recommend stuffed sole!
