I made my reservation online. There was a category for "special requests", in which I stated that it was my wife's birthday. I requested to have a dessert with a candle and maybe to sing happy birthday. This never happened or was never mentioned. I was disappointed by that and will most likely call to make the reservation in hopes that a note will be made in the reservation book about the special occasion and the request. Whom ever is responsible for transferring the online reservation information dropped the ball.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! Excellent server, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! Amazing cheesecake for dessert! Perfect meal!

Our server Diane was excellent! Hostess was seating people without reservations first and giving them the most desired seats with views. I had reservations well in advance and lost preferred seating options to people without reservations. Our server made the experience worthwhile. The menu is varied, and the wine selection is good.

We decided to give the boathouse restaurant a try during Lake George’s restaurant week. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this fabulous restaurant. The views of Lake George were incredible. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will be back soon.

Beautiful lakeside setting but not much else. Food was below standard. Caesar salad was awful—soggy lettuce and way too much dressing. It was inedible. Stuffed sole had an unappealing sauce on top and was served with vegetables that were extremely overdone. My suggestion would be to go to the bar, have a drink and enjoy the scenery then find someplace else to eat.

Great location ….viewing Lake George. Our meals were solid not exceptional . This restaurant provides a great experience because of its beautiful location and terrific service.

We enjoyed our dinner and found the experience to be superior to other restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly and we were accommodated with a table that was quieter with a view. The lake view was stunning. The food was solidly good but not exceptional and better than most in a town not really known for fine dining. I would happily return if back in the area.
