The Boathouse at Saugatuck is an exciting American seafood restaurant with panoramic views of the Saugatuck River. House in the Saugatuck Rowing Club, this Westport restaurant is situated on the second floor (elevator accessible) with indoor as well as limited outdoor dining on our covered deck and first floor water front terrace when weather permits.

If you are not able to book on OpenTable, please call us at 203-227-3399 and depending upon availability, we may be able to accommodate you. We are limiting bookings to 90 minutes. If you are more than 15 minutes late your reservation is at risk. Please take travel time into account in order to be on time.

We will make every attempt to honor reservation requests for our upstairs deck. However, due to limited seating outdoors, high demand and the ever changing weather, we cannot guarantee seating on the deck.

Requesting "Outdoor Seating" on your OpenTable reservation does not guarantee a table is available at the time you request.

    The setting is definitely an asset. Two of our group liked our food, muscles and spaghetti, two not so much, salmon on slaw. Salmon was good, slaw not as enjoyable. The menu is very limited. There were beverage choices. The service was good.

    Extremely attentive service with delicious food and a view that can’t be beat. If you want to eat out on their deck, you should call ahead to confirm.

    Our server was very attentive. Getting the meals was slow. The menu is very limited. Needs revision or updating. I'll probably come back again. I love the location.

    Beautiful early summer evening and a gorgeous setting outside. Our food was great but the service was really really slow - this gave us longer to enjoy the view but it took 25 minutes to get even glasses of water! I'm sure we will be back on a warm evening though!

    We sat on upper porch overlooking Saugatuck River. Beautiful. We had libster rolls. Yum. Service was excellent. Highly recommend

    Dined on the deck at the Boathouse which is always lovely and the reason for coming. Had lobster/shrimp spaghetti which was good. Wine crisp - perfect for the day.  Couple of things: 1) A more limited menu than I remember- most folks can find something. 2) No bread or crackers. Others had but we were never offered. Waitress was not around to ask. That being said definitely go back for the view.
