Lets start with ambience. There are a number of trendy hotspots that have opened in the last couple of years. The noise level is deafening. It was so nice to be able to have a dinner conversation without shouting at each other. Nice lighting, comfortable seating, just a very nice setting. Service. In a word OUTSTANDING. From the moment we entered we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly words. Dinner and drinks were served at a leisurely (but not slow) pace. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. She was just there at the right times. Food. Well here's where it gets uneven. Companion ordered the crab cakes with a caesar salad. $38 bucks seemed like a lot for a couple of crab cakes, but these were delicious and she could barely finish them. The salad was huge, delicious and expertly prepared. The Ribeye- I used to always get this and they were always tender and delicious. Not this one. I have shoes that would be easier to cut than the steak I was served. It was kind of like driving down a long road strewn with potholes. I kept searching for a tender piece but never found one. Worst steak I've had since the Sizzler closed down. Unforgiveable at $78.

We were very much looking forward to our reservation. The staff was wonderful and the restaurant and setting were fantastic. However, the drinks and food were very underwhelming, especially when considering the cost.

Good as usual. Expensive but a good experience. Wait staff is exceptional.

The service is always outstanding. Excellent wine selection by the glass and by the bottle. Always enjoy their steaks and the food is very consistent every time we visit.

Food was excellent, service was okay. It was pretty quiet in there and our server seemed like she was in a rush to move on or something. Just not very attentive and seemed distracted. We had indicated on our reservation we were going to the restaurant for a date night. We were sat right below their speaker that was playing music and it did distract from the evening. Again, the place was pretty empty so it wasn’t the only table available. We will give another chance in the future due to the food being outstanding and hopefully will have a better service/atmosphere on the next visit.

We enjoyed an amazing dinner at The Blacksmith this week. Our party of 7 enjoyed every bite and sip of a variety of drinks, starters, salads, seafood, steak, and desserts. We will definitely be back for another repeat family gathering. Our server was right on task with taking orders, answering questions, interacting with our family, paying very close attention to some serious allergies, and delivering our meals at the appropriate temperature. She was friendly & upbeat. We definitely hope to be sitting in her section again.

High expectations since this was a highly rated restaurant but we did not have the best experience. Wouldn’t write a review but 3 tables around us had issues with food being cooked incorrectly and hour food took over an hour and a half to come out to us. We were told that our food was given to another table and then it came out cold. Butter on my steak was solid and cold. Wouldn’t spend my money here again for the price point this was at.

What a wonderful NYE! The restaurant and servers were all so festive. Our server, Angie, was so friendly and accommodating on such a busy night! We thoroughly enjoyed our prime rib, steak/frites and king salmon. The sides were excellent. We finished our meal with a delectable crème brûlée and to-die-for bread pudding. We enjoyed NYE last year at Blacksmith’s. It’s becoming our tradition!
