Great atmosphere. Very busy for a Monday night in January, which was good to see. Pleasant and efficient service. I had a halloumi burger and fries, which was very good, but it would have been nice to have salad or coleslaw with it. Very good overall though.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, the service we received was very friendly, professional and efficient. Our Sunday lunch was delicious! Thank you, we’ll be back!

Happy to see a vegetarian option on Sunday meal, attentive service, great food, good portion, and variety of desserts. Comfortable surroundings in clean and traditional style. Ample parking plus disabled spaces, outdoor areas for better weather days.

What can I say, went for my wife as a Birthday surprise. She was surprised alright, loved it and wants to go again. Great Thanks we will return !

Absolutely incredible. Eaten here a few times before and it's always been exeptional! It's usually a special occasion type of place to eat due to the price point but it's a lovely place and definitely worth the cost. Pub has a lovely lively atmosphere and the food is delicious 😋. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Our table wasn't quite ready so we had a drink in the bar first which we didn't mind at all. Would easily recommend to anyone who's looking for epic pub food with a bit of a more gastro high end feel. Amazing place and will definitely visit again.

Travelled over to be served very mediocre pub grub. Extremely disappointed as we previously had eaten here. Looks like they have lost the brilliant chef they had previously? Cold vegetables and mash burnt inedible liver. Very high price for very poor standard of fare. We will not recommend or return whilst they are happy to serve this standard of food. Our last meal we had here a few years ago was spot on. We couldn’t wait to come back for our special birthday treat. What a let down They had there 2 rosette food for the standard they used to provide. Not this awful pub grub !!

Had Sunday lunch at the Black Horse. Great welcome, fantastic service, food was excellent, I think the ambiance was also fantastic, decor and flow of the restaurant/bar works so well. Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely be going back.
