We very much enjoyed our dinner at the Bistro at Marshdale! The restaurant is in a very cute building that appears to have been an old home. The dumplings we had were out of this world. The broth was incredible!! My husband had the Singapore filet and I had the elk loin. I am an avid elk lover and this loin is now at the top of my list!! It was prepared perfectly and the sauces/purees enhanced the flavor so much! The staff were wonderful and friendly and helped a family member find a dish that fit their dietary needs. We are more than impressed with the Bistro and plan to return!

We have eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed it, but this was a whole new level!! Not sure if there is new management or a new chef, but the whole experience was truly first class. Attentive service, delicious food beautifully presented. Wow!

My guest and I have a truly wonderful dining experience at this beautiful restaurant. Casual, elegant and somewhat rustic decor which is perfect for this mountain location. The service by our server Ryan was exceptional! He answered all of our questions and gave us excellent guidance on our menu selections. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Our only regret about dinner was that we did not have room for what looked like their delicious deserts. As an added bonus, I accidentally left my credit card behind but received a call letting me know they had found it and would keep it safe. I was able to pick it up two days later ( due to my schedule not theirs). We also want to give a shout out to the very talented gentleman playing piano during the meal. Just the right volume and an excellent selection of songs. Thank you for such a unique and enjoyable dining experience!

Delicious food. The mussels were exquisite! Friendly service and we really enjoyed the live piano music. All around delightful experience! Go!!

This is a favorite restaurant for celebrating special occasions! The Bistro never disappoints and always has something new to offer. Incredible!

The staff were very good. The food was terrible. My date had the grilled chicken lasagna, it was served on a cold dish and was favorless, she only ate a 1/5 of it before she pushed it away. The staff was very good though and offered to prepare a new dish but she thought it would take to long, so the staff credited the cost of the lasagna dish. I had the 16 oz porkchop and asked for it as medium done as recommended by our hostess. It came medium rare, pink on the inside and red along the bone, I was starving so I ate 3/4 of it. The spiced sweet potato hash on my dish was burnt to a crisp and tasted like spiced cardboard. There was not a single vegetable on either dish just some garnish. As mentioned, the service was great, maybe the chef was sick and didn't make it to work and the dishwashers prepared our meal, but we will not return until at least couple of friend tells us their food was good.

We were in a smaller room, thus quieter than the main dining area. Our server was attentive and very professional. The menu was creative and interesting. The food was well prepared and presented.
