The Auld Hundred serves up traditional yet tasty British pub grub, washed down by a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.

At our central location on 100 Rose Street you can unwind in our classic pub interior, or enjoy a bite to eat in our expansive upstairs dining area inspired by Scotland itself.

Auld Hundred's menu is bursting with high quality burgers, steaks, pies, our famous fish & chips and a few of the classic Scottish comfort dishes. On the drinks list, we have a crackin' selection of cask ales as well as premium wine, beers, ciders and malt whisky.

Food quality was great but portions were small, more chips please, they also missed serving peas with the fish and chips. Would have given the service excellent but a junior member of staff cleared the plates whilst one of us was still eating, wait until everyone has finished please.

Great wee restaurant (up a spiral stair). Staff on the ball, friendly, helpful, efficient. Nice ambience. Been here before and will return when in Edinburgh.

Great location in vibrant Rose street in city centre. Food was magnificent, best haggis I have ever tasted. Only thing better than the food was the Staff who were amazing. Booked for seven on a saturday night a few weeks in advance as we were attending the castle for the tattoo which is only a 10 min walk. Great location near princes street went to boots for eye drops just round the corner and open until 7pm.

First - Becca, our server, was amazing!!! She was enthusiastic, attentive, and just all-around a friendly and nice person who did a great job. The food was excellent - including the sticky toffee pudding! - and the atmosphere was exactly the pub/dining experience we wanted.

Our first visit was pre-booked and the tables quickly filled up. Enjoyable pub food with friendly and efficient service.
