The Asbury restaurant, nestled in the lobby of the city’s only historic boutique hotel, is named in honor of Louis Asbury, Sr. In 1929, the Charlotte architect designed what is now The Dunhill Hotel. Today, our modern Southern restaurant honors the past, celebrates the seasons, and looks forward. Open seven days a week and serving the longest weekend brunch in Charlotte.

My family and I had Sunday brunch At Ashbury. The food was phenomenal. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The beignets are the absolute best I ever had a must try.

The food was hit & miss for us. My French toast was good, but not note worthy. My wife had the shrimp eggs benedict. The shrimp had not flavor and the dish lacked seasoning. Not a place a would visit for a second time.

I’ve walked past it and heard good things about it many times, but this was my first time there. I came for the Lion King dining experience and would easily return and highly recommend. My server Julia was kind, attentive, encouraged me to enjoy my dining experienced, so I did not feel rushed. The food was fresh, plated well, had great flavor and was brought to me straight from the kitchen, so my food was not cold. All for a great price! There were great options and it was packed. I look forward to trying some of the regular menu items.

Very cute spot. Came due to promotions of a Lion King themed menu. They ran out of one of the appetizers within 15 minutes of opening even though there were not a lot of customers at that time. Unable to order anything from the bar due to bartenders not being there upon opening. They did arrive about 15 minutes later, however due to myself being on a time crunch it delayed my dining experience as I was scheduled to see The Lion King following dinner. Food was tasty.

The steak was juicy and the salmon perfectly cooked. Everything from the appetizers to desert was delicious, and served with southern hospitality.

We were there for lunch. The three of us shared a serving of sticky biscuits which we all agreed was a wonderful starter. The Strawberry Field Salad was delicious--with chicken is recommended. The PICKLE BRINED CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH was delicious, as well.

Eric welcomed me in and explained what the experience would be. He mixed amazing cocktails with ease, while taking care of the hotel guest requests too. Every cocktail he explained in detail and spoke about some mixologist techniques. Fabulous bang for the buck. The standout star of it all was Eric.
