Situé sur la Gresham Street à Londres, à proximité du musée de Londres, le bar et restaurant The Anthologist est l'antidote idéal au stress et au bruit de la ville. Son design est résolument moderne dans un espace aéré comme un loft, avec des conduits apparents, de hauts tabourets et des tables de style réfectoire. Aves ses lustres suspendus d'inspiration industrielle, ses plafonds en métal gaufré et son bar en bois courbé, l'Anthologist offre un décor éclectique, original et sans prétention. Good location near Bank station. Comfortable seating and quiet ambience - great for business discussions. Nice alcohol-free cocktails and small plates. But shockingly dreadful main! The Goan Curry with chicken had been microwaved to destruction: the chicken was rock hard and very dry. The naan bread instead of being soft was very stiff cardboard. When mentioned to the waitress, she promised to tell the cook. Took payment in full, and nothing more was said. Clearly no concerns about whether we would come back (we won’t!) A mouse was running around below a nearby table. I don’t think he would have liked my food!

Great food and the service was very attentive and quick. The only negative was that the sauces for the steak were not that nice

Food was tasty and service was good - not too intrusive but attentive. Didn’t take too long to arrive - had the herb crusted cod which was gorgeous

It had been a while since last at the Anthologist, but on a rainy Friday it was good to see it busy. Good food and service.

For a long overdue catch-up this place was great, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, they gave us a lovely round table slightly tucked away from the noise of the main bar so we could hear each other. Food was delicious and they gave a little birthday surprise to one of our guests. Thank and we will definitely come back again.

Great venue, loved the space, good food attentive service. I only had breakfast there so far, so the room was quiet and perfect for a breakfast meeting.
