    Great pub. Manager really friendly and welcoming. Food and service good and wine list. Would definitely recommend. 😊

    Food is ok, but slow service, waited 20 minutes for our drinks and second drink order never turned up.

    What a wonderful evening, service was impeccable! Nothing was to much trouble and the food was lovely. We will be back.

    Advertised as a gastropub and it certainly is! The food was perfect and ingredients local. I had Sussex blue cheese tart followed by calves liver, bacon and mash and my husband had duck in hoisin for starter and warm salmon niçoise fit his main: all delicious. He had a Sussex beer (Harvey’s). There was ample car parking and the pub was situated on the main road so no need to go off-route.

    Warm welcome, excellent food and good choice of dishes. Harveys a real bonus too! Considering the size and quality of the dishes, we felt it was excellent value. Really enjoyed our evening and would definitely visit again.

    Went for Sunday lunch. Great ambience, good food and efficient and engaging service. Finished with a drink in the separate bar. All round a very enjoyable experience and good value for money.

    The best Sunday roast I've had in a very long time! The loin of pork was absolutely delicious and the portion size perfect. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.
