Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area – a feast for your eyes as well as your palate. Indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties. Next, an endless parade of gauchos visit your table with skewers of freshly grilled meats carved tableside. horrible place, meat is very bloody, salad bar is generally poor, there is nothing special, no children's menu, a bunch of waiters carrying only jugs of water instead of meat. The choice of meat is very small and only if you are lucky to stop a waiter who is just passing by you. very noisy and there is a casino nearby that just smells of cigarette smoke.

Unfortunately, our experience was very poor. From the moment we walked in, we waited 20 minutes to be seated after checking in with the hostess for our reservation. The hostess was more concerned with her appearance than customers. After 20 minutes, I inquired about our reservations, and she replied, oh, I marked you as seated! Even though we were sitting right in front of her for 20 minutes, and she never even asked us or inquired why we were sitting there. Once seated, we waited quite a while for service, we are quite surprised when we didn’t receive menus and found out that it was a fixed price for the holiday. We were not impressed with the featured selections or the salad bar, or any of the meat provided. The only plus were the workers walking around to the tables to give the meat to us. Had we known about the package, we wouldn’t have purchased wine from the bar while we waited. We were shocked to see the total of the bill, and very unimpressed with our dining experience. We will not be dining at another chain restaurant that Texas de Brazil offers. I would much rather spend the $300 towards a higher end restaurant.

Salad bar was mediocre. Dressings tasted like from a jar, green stuff was limited, hearts of palm were mushy. Beef meats were ok but others overcooked and tough. Staff were friendly and attentive.

We have been to main land locations, but first time in Puerto Rico. Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow initially, but we got there shortly after they opened. Picked up as the dining room became fuller. The staff was great. Overall good experience.
