This was the price fixe Halloween tea. The savories were delicious and the sweets were decadent. Needless to say every food item had a Halloween theme like brain and skull sweets. The trifle had a chocolates soil with little dark chocolate tomb stones on the trifle grave. The dry ice bubbling over the cauldrons of tomato soup was a nice spooky touch. The specially prepared black tea was lightly scented and bright. The guitarist Cliff accompanied the tea with a beautifully rendered set of acoustic guitar renderings. Fantastic Experience!!!

We had not had a meal here before. Nice environment. Good service. Food was good but a little pricey. Noise level was fine until a large loud group was seated in the room as we were finishing our meal.

It took 2 hours to serve main course. I feel they have a kitchen problem. Unfortunately we don’t drink.

The Williamsburg Inn Tide to Table Evening held on the Terrace was fabulous! A seafood lovers paradise;) Oysters being shucked from 3 different local suppliers, beautiful shrimp, lobster tails, stone crabs and steamed clams were all delightful. Chef, made as you watched, sushi was amazing, best salmon sushi we’ve ever had! The delicious roasted oysters, homemade rice and beans, succotash and tomato pie added nice warmth to the offerings. The homemade fudge, especially the walnut maple, was a perfect final touch to the evening. And, of course, all went well with the 3 different champagne offerings and enjoyable live music. Our first time attending, but definitely not our last!

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. A bit pricey, but it was a special evening with our granddaughter. My husband enjoyed his $40 burger and my granddaughter enjoyed her meal. I ordered scallops and two were cooked fine, but the other three were still translucent instead of opaque and I couldn't eat them. When the waiter finally came to check on us and I told him the problem, he offered to bring some more. After a bit of a wait, two (not three!) scallops were presented and again, they were not cooked through. The waiter said they were pan seared which I thought implied that he meant they were supposed to be rare in the middle, like panned seared ahi. Fortunately they did not charge for my meal, but it reminded me as to why I don't usually order scallops because too often the are either over or under cooked.
