Very average. It was really expensive for the value that we got. The service was pretty average, the food was ok but not worth the cost. The chef did a good job but not enough to offset the cost vs value we received.

I recently went for my birthday dinner, and it was a good experience. The chefs were entertaining, and the food was both delicious and healthy. The portions are moderate, if you are hungry you may need some starters. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner, and the thoughtful gesture of a small birthday treat made the evening even more special.

Great food and great service. Is a fun atmosphere. Not good for an intimate dinner where you want to have a quiet conversation.

Very disappointed! Place was a ghost town, we were the only ones seated at the table which made the whole dining experience boring. The food was delicious but The portions were very small, I’ve eaten at these types of restaurants all over North America and there’s usually double the amount of food plus at the end of the meal you receive tea and dessert, but not it this place! The most disappointing part was that we had to give a credit card in order to book on OpenTable with a $25 fee charged per person if we were A no-show. That is an option that the restaurant chose as I have been using OpenTable for years and I don’t agree with having to do that.

Our dinner was tasty and the steak delicious. They wasn’t much of a show. Maybe things have changed post Covid. :(

The service was very friendly and prompt here. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend friends to come here as the actual 'show' is very basic. I feel like I could have ordered food from Edo's (a japanese eatery that you'll find in a food court at the mall) to watch the food prepared and cooked on a flat iron griddle. It just felt a bit short/rushed, and was over quite quickly.

Our restaurant is dedicated to authentic Japanese Teppanyaki, staying true to the traditional methods and recipes established by our 2 Japanese founders more than 35 years ago in Whistler. Unlike many North American chain restaurants of the same nature, the focus at the time was to deliver a genuine culinary experience, rather than relying solely on entertainment.
