Teatro se traduit par « théâtre » en italien, et cet établissement du même nom rend hommage à son emplacement, dans le quartier des arts et du théâtre à Calgary. Depuis plus de 20 ans, le Teatro est au service de la cuisine méditerranéenne contemporaine dans une ambiance gastronomique, logé dans le bâtiment historique de la Dominion Bank de Toronto (construit en 1911). La cave à vins primée recèle plus de 13 500 bouteilles représentant 1100 étiquettes différentes, avec un accent sur les vins raffinés de l'Italie et de Bordeaux. Vous pouvez profiter d'une expérience gastronomique unique grâce au menu dégustation à huit services du chef. Si vous êtes un grand groupe, des options de salles à manger privées et semi-privées sont aussi disponibles.

    Great food, excellent service. Would recommend going earlier in the evening, we got there at 8:15 and they were out of things like bread and the chefs pasta special at the end of the night. Otherwise was a fantastic experience in a beautiful restaurant.

    Service was horrible for a restaurant of this caliber. Food was alright, but not good value for the price, along with horrible service just made the entire experience even worse - we will likely not come back as there are many other better restaurants in the area.

    Service was lacking at best. Food was decent but not worth the high cost. Expected more from Teatro.

    We went to the Clos de Oyster Barre pop-up event because it sounded right up our alley: oysters, champagne, hip hop music and candlelight. It was exactly what we hoped for! Amazing ambiance and very interesting and fun menu. Great music that kept us entertained as we chatted and the service was phenomenal! Taylor and the other servers along with the kitchen staff did an amazing job and we would recommend to anyone who wants to have a special experience.

    It was a bit disappointing. We were there for the valentines course but other than the steak, everything else was quite a let down. My salad had the butt of the veggie, some muscles were in broken pieces, and the moon fish cold plate was bland with citrus and some type of cucumber extract. The seating was also disappointing. We were seated in a corner that was looking outward. The window was dirty and the corner was crowded unlike the other parts of the restaurant. Both girlfriend and I felt that the cost of the meal was not worth the experience that we had. I hope they improve their food next year.

    I was there for closbarre pop up. The food was amazing as I expected, I loved it when they used to do popups at the Vendom. Can't wait for the next popup!

    Went for Clos de la Oyster Bar pop up. Food was delicious. Drink service was very slow and our server didn’t know anything about the menu. Unfortunately using this venue for the pop up missed the mark on creating the cool ambiance CdlOB is apparently known for. It was too dark to even read the menu or see the colours of the food (all just looked like shades of grey), and somehow it felt both like the room was empty but the tables had no privacy? Basically food = great, the space chosen for the pop up = not great
