I have been using Open Table for many years and have never written a bad experience. Unfortunately we had one here. We were 4 adults and 3 children. The appetizers and drinks came out very quickly and all was good, but then it went totally downhill from there. The main course which was one mixed platter for the table took over 45 minutes to come. Our server kept on apologizing and said they were very busy, however tables around us that came in after us were all being served. At this point when the main course finally came , the children were tired and we lost our appetite, so we took home almost the entire course. It’s too bad that our experience was subpar, as it could have been a great one for all, especially the kids. Again, I never write negative reviews as I know how it can impact a restaurant, but I had to in this case.

Hello. I was not aware that the menu was a la carte. I overheard other waiters ask if their customers wanted a salad, lemon potatoes or other side dishes. Our waiter did not!! Halfway through the meal we had to request a side of potatoes. We had to ask for water refills and additional bread as well.

Taverna Opa was delicious! Our server was excellent- attentive without being annoying. And he was very pleasant and friendly. We shared a few dishes and the portions were quite large. Overall, a great experience.

Food was okay. Saganaki cheese was hard and dry . Food was fast food level of good. Anyone with a party of 2 is stuck very close to another table and hard for waiters to get through.

We were very pleased with our dinner. The food was delicious. The octopus starter was excellent. We order the lamb chops and they were tender and spiced nicely. The scallops and eggplant were also very good. All the plates were presented nicely. Overall I would recommend the restaurant.
