An Alternate Approach to Dining:

Taverna Opa employs a different approach to energize and introduce the diner to a different dimension of entertainment. Good food, good service. A solid option along the intracoastal at Hollywood Beach. We were in the outdoor area which is quieter than indoor with nice views of the lake.

The food was great as always. But tge service this time was really bad. The waiter had an attitude and was pushy(trying to get us spend more) and when we did not comply he slow and impolite. A total turnoff.

Not my first time at the restaurant, but this time eating inside was way too noisy. The tables along the windows overlooking the Intracoastal Waterways are so close together you can put your hand out and touch the people sitting across from the aisle. Food is excellent, service was fine. From now on, I will only eat at the outdoors area.

Food was not as good as prior visits. Gyro meat was greasy and dry( overcooked). Lamb chops were delicious. Super noisy environment making it difficult to have conversation but love the authenticity.

Something have change since last time I was there, food was ok, used to be much better, I don't know if they changed ownership or cooks.
