Magical est un mot souvent mentionne lorsque l'on parle de Tavern On The Green et on ne peut pas s'empêcher de ressentir de la magie dans l'air. Jim et David, l'architecte Richard Lewis et architecte paysagiste Robin Key, ont conservé l'élégance victorienne/gothique du bâtiment semi-circulaire; il est authentique, naturel, élégant et sexy. Il a été reconstruit avec une précision spectaculaire. The whole experience was effortless. Table was easy to book, even though we are not based in the States. We arrived early and were told we could wait at the bar. We were served quickly even though the bar was very busy. We had a text to tell us the table was ready. On arriving at our table a member of staff gave my husband a birthday card as I had stated this when I booked. What a lovely touch. We had seen an item on the bar menu that wasn't on the restaurant menu but we were told we could still order it. The food as always was fantastic. All the staff went above and beyond. We always go here whenever we are in New York and recommend to anyone we know who is going. No one has ever been disappointed.

Six friends traveled to New York from Texas and this was one of the must do’s. It gave us memories of a lifetime. Wonderful experience.

The chopped salad was superb. The pasta with braised beef cheek was good but would be even better if less salty.

Me trataron mal y me mintieron. Cuando llegué al lugar me corrieron porque llevaba una niña menor de edad acompañada por tres adultos. El manager me dijo que me regresarían el dinero que pagué , al otro día me atendieron, me pidieron que enviara un correo electrónico y ya no me atendieron. Me robaron 900 usd.

This was perfect for New Year’s Eve. They don’t overstuff the place with people, although crowded, which is to be expected, but one can still move about freely. The noise levels were that of a busy restaurant on a major holiday. If you wished to dance and party there was space for that in the event section beyond the dining room. We spent most of the evening in the main bar area towards the front. The host, coat check, bar staff, servers, and attendants were all efficient and friendly. New Year’s Eve can often be very crowded and obnoxious, this was not the case at Tavern on the Green. I would go back next year.

We attended the New Year’s Eve party . Everything was really good , food and drinks all night were delicious , workers were very attentive .
