Locally sourced and seasonally inspired, Tavern on Kruse changes menus every 12 weeks as we weave the season's perfectly-fresh and perfectly ripe bounty into our offerings. Our executive chef, Nathan Bates, spent four and half years at the Michelin 3-Star "Fifth Floor" in San Francisco. Our space is elegant, but our staff is friendly and jovial as we see "people" as the reason for dining. We look forward to meeting you.

Another great experience at Tavern on Kruse. All the food selections were excellent, although the dessert portion was a bit small for a prix fixe meal. The service was very good and felt personal. And I love the seasonal cocktails.

Love TOC, easily the best vibe, value, service, dining option in the area. It was New Year's dinner, a fixed price menu. A lovely menu. I know the challenges to get each dish right and the timing to serve each plating when doing a 2-seating holiday meal. The menu was bold, the actual food experience was a bit uneven. The lobster Cappuccino ( soup bisque) was excellent but sat on the counter too long and arrived not quite even warm. It needed to be hot. The Tavern Wellington, arrived too soon while we were still working on the Chicken Breast and Foie Gras Terrine and Waldorf Salad, but also excellent, but a bit over cooked. We had a wonderful service person, folks are attentive and friendly and present as if your neighbors.

Wow, the New Year's Eve dinner was incredible! The five courses and wine pairings were skillfully prepared and spaced perfectly to allow time to really enjoy each course. The pace was relaxed and it was fun to watch the food being prepared in the open kitchen. We have been enjoying Tavern on Kruze for many years and I can honestly say that they outdid themselves. The beef Wellington and lobster bisque were definitely highlights. The service, as always, was friendly and customer focused. A truly enjoyable experience that we look forward to doing again.

We had a family celebration at Tavern and the entire family loved their meal and experience. The seasonal specials of the lamb gnocchi and osso bucco were wonderful along with the staples of the tavern burger. Our server was personable and attentive while allowing family time.

Wonderful restaurant. Creative menu and great food thanks to a great chef. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I feel fortunate to have this restaurant in my neighborhood.

Service was good. Ordered the fried chicken which came with a very small serving of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese seemed to be just thrown on the plate, it was cold and probably had been sitting a while. Tap beer had an off taste. The crab dip appetizer was good but served with not enough bread, server did offer more which was very nice. Would not return.

The food was good and the service was excellent. However, the noise level in the restaurant is very high. Almost all of the loud noises appears to be coming from the bar area, so picking a time to eat when the bar is slow would be a good idea.

Despite being incredibly busy and with a reservation in the middle of the lunch rush the staff was amazing, thoughtful and thorough. Great experience and terrific food. Parking options were a bit scarce but the restaurant has no control over that, just be prepared.
