L'historique Tartar Frigate est l'un des seuls restaurants en silex du XVIIIe siècle du comté de Kent. Reconnu comme l'un des meilleurs restaurants de fruits de mer, il offre une magnifique vue panoramique sur Viking Bay à Broadstairs. Si vous n'aimez pas les fruits de mer, vous pouvez toujours choisir un succulent plat traditionnel du monde entier de son grand menu. Au bar, vous trouverez un feu accueillant auprès duquel vous pourrez vous réchauffer. Pendant la semaine folklorique de Broadstairs, le Tartar Frigate devient un lieu important pour les festivités, et organise des concerts la journée ainsi que le soir. En été, vous pourrez savourer votre bière sur la plage.

Old style pub with the restaurant upstairs- good views of Viking Bay. Service was fantastic and staff all very attentive. Food was average, mixture or seafood and meat, with no dishes standing out in our opinion but portions were large if this is important to you.

What a lovely welcome we had - very friendly and we felt at home straight away .. my partner had the mussels as a starter - which was huge followed the Skate which he said was utterly delicious 😋 I had bruschetta which was very tasty and fresh - loved the courgette ribbons followed by the cod with charred little gem lettuce and bacon in a cream sauce - lots of veg and potatoes too! No room for pud !! We will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening Claudia & Martyn

Excellent service. Wonderful selection of starters, roasts and puddings. Great value for money, as you will never leave feeling hungry. So forget the rest and just go to the best...!!!

Its all looking a bit tired, could do with some updating. Dirty looking carpets and needs new fresh lick of paint. My roast was its usual lovely meal but my friends fish looked like and tasted like it had sat on a hot plate for a few hours. The young waitresses offer some upbeat pleasure but there was miscommunication with wanting the smaller version of the 4 courses at £21. It took a long time to get the bill despite trying to catch the eyes of management. So much choice for excellent food in the area Probably my last time there.

Food quality was amazing as usual. It's our local restaurant and the first place we choose to go too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The Sunday lunch 4 course set price is brilliant value. We love it here and can't recommend it enough.
