Such a beautiful experience at this restaurant. We sat in the courtyard where there were space heaters to keep us warm, and a little more space between tables so conversations could be has easily. The duck, oxtail dumplings, and eggplant were perfection. The pasta carbonara was probably my least favorite dish. Service was extremely professional and attentive. Love this gem of a place.

As usual the food was incredible. We sat outside with heaters so perfect, not too much car noise. Expensive but well worth it for a memorable experience.

Absolutely awesome! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant. This was our first time having dinner at Tar & Roses. Loved the tapas style smaller portions so we could experience several different dishes. The food was amazing. So fresh, flavorful and unique. Our server, Martin, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had such an amazing dinner experience. We will definitely be returning to Tar & Roses. Thank you for such a great dinner.

The shellfish pot was excellent. The eggplant was delicious. We really enjoyed the tomato and peach salad too.

I celebrated my birthday here and it was one of the best meals I have had in years!’ Every dish was exquisite. After we finished I could have started the entire meal again because I wanted to taste it again. The staff were excellent. It is busy and they do have to turnover the tables, so you can’t stay really long.

It is clear from the moment you set foot that the people here really want you to have a lovely experience. The food is SUBLIME and the staff are cheerily efficient and welcoming. We feasted Al fresco under the guidance of Pete - it was an amazing meal of three courses of little/shared plates. The cod w/lemongrass risotto and yellow tail crude are out of this world, as was the strawberry tart. The outdoor area has a calm and pleasant vibe, while the indoor dining areas are bustling. Fabulous all around.

Went to T&R for my birthday with my daughter who was just here for the day. It has been our favorite restaurant for years. We had an early reservation which was very nice because we had a table in the enclosed patio and noticed more of the rustic charm during the daylight. Service is always great at T&R but this night they were especially wonderful and attentive to every detail. Our waiter Martin gave us excellent recommendations. Thank you T&R for a special evening!!
