My friends and I usually choose to have our lunch reunions here because we don't feel rushed and can have a good visit. The waitstaff is always friendly and understanding. The food has never disappointed (except once, years ago, and the issue was corrected immediately!).

Food is overpriced and undersized . Charged for a side of soya sauce for the poke bowl . How can you have tuna with no wasabi or soya ? Ridiculous . Beer was flat .

I met up with my niece for a quick lunch. They took my reservation the day before, and followed up to ensure I'll be attending. Because it was a brief lunch, I asked to be able to share a lunch dish and also seafood chowder starter, and our waiter accommodated us. We were never interrupted, but were readily available when we needed service. This must have been my 4th time dining at Tap & Barrel Shipyards, and this day was the best by far. Thank you.

We were in to celebrate the birthdays of our son and daughter. Lots of great choices for our one gluten-free diner. Service was fast and friendly, and at the end of the meal they provided a nice treat to our honourees. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were all well prepared. We've enjoyed it here in the past and we will certainly look forward to returning

Zack was amazing. Only complaint is the shaft needs more work….. come to Victoria and do a bar and pub hop and test them all 😁😍

Had a great business lunch here. Service was awesome. I think it was Destiny that made our visit so great on top of the food. And after that we realized a couple days later that we left the receipt behind so couldn’t expense if for work. I called in & Taylor was awesome as she was able to find the receipt after I told her what we ate & the time of the meal. She texted it over to me right away. We’ll all be back for sure.

What we really appreciated was how great the staff were with our big group. Ensuring we had room for accessibility on short notice and putting up with a bunch of people who had not seen each other for a long time… getting up and moving around constantly! Thank you so much

Attended during the Friday night market. We were able to listen to the band from our table. This was good for us, but might not be for everyone. Gyoza was not hot, but they replaced it and comp’d it, so can’t complain. Service could have been quicker, but not bad.
