Arrived early. We were seated and didn’t wait too long for a waiter. Ordered and when food arrived my husband’s hamburger was good but my corned beef on rye was not. The corned beef was fatty and the bread soggy.

I love the Tam O'Shanter and have been going for years, so I wanted to treat a friend who'd never been to experience it. I was very disappointed. It may have been the time of day we went, after the lunch rush and before dinner - but once seated it took 6-10 minutes to get us a menu. We had to flag one of the server staff down to get it. Then we waited again to get someone to take our drink order, decided to quickly order the Poutin and Fish & Chips to share - seeing they were not being that attentive. 5 minutes later, there was a crash and bang at another table and our drinks were spilled all over them. Stuff happens, I get it - but when they finally got us our drinks...felt like 15 minutes after , we ordered a 2nd round just to make sure it would get to us in a timely manner before going to a Dodger playoff game! Anyway, the fries were overcooked. Way too crunchy. I'm not usually a complainer, but this seemed unusual for the them - so, go try it at lunch or dinner when they have a full and attentive serving staff. Stay away from the fries during the slow periods as the quality may drop due to the lack of volume / throughput? Still love the place, just making an observation from a single "less than ideal" experience.

Major disappointment, don’t be fooled into providing a credit card deposit, the restaurant is mostly empty. Yet the front hostess stand acts as if you’re crashing a private party. Even made us wait till our reservation time before seating us, only to fine the dining room completely empty. Won’t go back.

I never come here and not ordered the prime rib. I didn’t feel like beef tonight, so I ordered the salmon. It was brilliant. I will be getting that next time too. The wedge salad and shrimp cocktail were great also. Service was excellent. I’ve always loved the ambiance here. And I finally got to sit at the Walt Disney table. This place is great. I don’t come here often enough.

Went for brunch for our 56th Anniversay. Our favorite brunch pancake had been removed from the menu. Very disappointed with remaining selections.

Prime rib is excellent as usual. Host did help try to accommodate our group closest to the Walt Disney table (thank you!). However, today’s visit has problems. The restaurant need to have servers inform guests if meals will take 45 minutes. It felt very long. Also provide more training. Our server missed the following: 1. Asked if we wanted horseradish with the prime rib 2. Provided complimentary dessert for a birthday 3. Returned to check on our table if we are ok after reviving our dishes 4. If offering dessert, inform us of the soufflé that takes a while to make. We come to the Lawry’s group restaurants frequently to know the expected service and today was poor.
