This restaurant is a poor man's diner with rich man's prices—horrible service in all aspects of the restaurant. The quality of the food was inferior. I made reservations over a month ago for indoor sitting. We were seated outdoors on plastic chairs and a plastic table on a nice cold day. Our servicer showed up 45 minutes later. I had to go to the front and ask for our waiter. Drinks (not all the drinks) were served 30 minutes after placing the initial order. It took another 20 minutes to receive the missing drinks. The dinner arrived much later. The food was cold and not prepared correctly. An additional drink, ordered during the main course, was served after the dessert. Water glasses were a forgotten concept. I had to get up several times and ask the busboy to serve water. The dress code "Business Casual" is a big fat lie. Don't waste your money in this place.

Love Tam especially at Christmas and this year the food and carol singers were better than ever, highly recommended for a lovely festive meal around the holidays!

We love the old world ambience and sense of history, the charm and humor. We ordered Toad in the Hole and Prime Rib, both done perfectly and flavorful. Jonathan our server took good care of us. The Christmas carolers were wonderful. Can't wait for our next visit!

It's our family tradition to have dinner at the Tam O'Shanter every Christmas. The Carolers were lively and our meals were excellent - we had a great time!

Excellent service from start to finish. Wait staff was so attentive, kind and responsive to all our requests. The British/Dickensian Christmas atmosphere in the restaurant was the perfect setting for our big family holiday dinner in the private room (18 people) and to be serenaded by carolers throughout the evening made it even more special! Prime rib dinner was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding a la mode was a sweet way to top off the meal. Some commented that the French onion soup was too salty and would have loved a traditional Yorkshire pudding instead of the popover which others loved. Overall a wonderful holiday experience! We have decided to make the Tam a new family holiday tradition from now on!

We ate outside, but it was too cold and they wouldn’t turn up our heater, or forgot after we asked more than once.

My wife and I both had the Tam O'Shanter cut prime rib. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and all the sides were delicious. I had a couple Old Fashions with the Kentucky Owl batch 3 rye whiskey. Probably the best Old Fashions I've ever had. We sat in the area with the fireplace which was nice. The Christmas 🎄 Carolers came by and played White Christmas for us. Our server Erik was awesome. He came around often and was very polite and helpful. We always have a good experience dining here, and Christmas is my favorite time of the year to go. Everything is decorated and festive ✨️
