One of the few “real deal” French bistros we’ve been to in North America. Unapologetically authentic.…and, loving it! Kudos to the chef! The food was amazing, we especially loved the onion soup (best we’ve ever had), fois gras and the bread pudding dessert. Can’t wait to try the mushroom toast and the steak tartare. Our server was simply fantastic…very helpful, friendly and efficient. As was every staff member we had the pleasure of interacting with. The only caution we would add is that the acoustics in the restaurant were such that all random sounds/conversations seemed amplified to an uncomfortable level. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate experience…this may not be the best choice. We would still recommend this Bistro as a unique choice on the Vancouver food map. Despite the acoustical issues, we had an amazing meal and a very enjoyable evening. Well done!

No clue why this location is stingy on awarding Opentable reservations. This is my third time that I was considered as a no-show. Had to waste my time to reach out to Opentable to provide them information that I was in attendance, and then had to upload a proof of my receipt, which I did. I checked-in with the front staff, and they saw and acknowledged my reservation on their screen. I come back to the office from my business late-lunch meeting, only to be frustrated by an email from Opentable as a no-show. This was ridiculous... and will consider other venues/suggestions for meals with business colleagues, friends and private dining rooms.

Excellent restaurant on all fronts. Excellent food, decent portions, great ambiance, friendly, attentive service and good value for a higher end restaurant. It seemed to be the kind of place where everyone seems to be laughing and having a lot if fun, ourselves included. Some restaurants just click, and this is one of them. Highly recommended.
