Special occasion lunch for 2 in the city. Great wine selections, we each had a wonderful soup on a chilly afternoon, and our entrees were great too. Service was well done though the dining room was pretty busy. He even brought complementary bubbly for our occasion. Can't beat the ambiance at Tabard Inn.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Tabard Inn. It was an absolute pleasure from the minute we walked through the door. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was scrumptious from start to finish, and the ambiance was both historic and relaxing. Thank you Tabard Inn for such an incredible dining experience in our nation's capital.

Business dinner for three. Everything surperb except for noise level for the first hour. Then the next table left and it got down to the mildly annoying I expect from almost all the restaursants I frequent these days.

Our server was especially great. Atmosphere was great. We come every year to celebrate our anniversary.

We come here several times a year for "Big Occasions" such as anniversary & Valentine's day. Last night was wonderful as always: Always enjoy the chez chic decorating. Tasty food from an imaginative menu. Wonderful service from Gigi brought it all together nicely!

Always a pleasant experience to have breakfast here. Good food (and plenty of it...), good service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This is a very iconic old school restaurant. The ambiance is traditional and welcoming. The menu is not huge but there is a good blend of seafood, poultry, pork, and poultry. The scallops are great and the hanger steak done medium rare was excellent. A great date night or out of town guest place.

The Tabard Inn was inviting, welcoming and cozy. It was so nice to visit again. Our server Gigi was friendly and attentive and our dishes; meat, fish and vegetarian, were all very good, interesting and presented beautifully. Each of the dining rooms twinkled with ambiance, all inviting in their own style. All staff members contributed to a very enjoyable experience. This is a unique and magical setting to meet for drinks and have a lovely, delicious dinner afterwards. Desserts were outstanding. We look forward to returning again soon.

It was our anniversary, and we’ve had a lot going on as of late. Suffice it to say, we needed this. Food, service, ambiance: all A+. Cannot recommend it enough. We’ll be back for more.
