    This was the perfect choice for our Valentine's Day engagement. We were split between the Family Style southern menu and the Valentine's Day menu. Both looked good but the southern style gave the best taste of what Succotash is all about. Our server Eric made it an amazing experience! He brought us a special dessert and really helped make it a special occasion. We will always remember our special day and the family style meal at Succotash

    Great experience, great staff - accommodated us showing up somewhat early and remained great throughout the stay. Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

    Ambiance was amazing. Service was beyond top notch! We decided on the Taste of The South and it delivered. I loved how Edward Lee incorporated Korean style into southern cooking. You got that amazing soul food mixed with amazing hints of Seoul food. The dressing that was served with the fried green tomatoes was heavenly! Farm fresh ingredients really shined through. It was delicious and super creamy. The slaw with the catfish was a fantastic twist of fresh slaw with lemon without the mayo that one might be used to. If you are looking for a different spin on southern favorites this is the place. Personally, I would like to see a little more Korean spice incorporated in some of the dishes, but that might be for everyone. I will be headed back to Succotash for sure!

    So it has been a few years since we been here and we remember last time the food wasn't all that good but tonight definitely changed our minds. They clearly must have listened to the people because we enjoyed everything we ate! The bourbon selection is still top notch!

    The food was awesome!!! Our server was so personable AND patient with us. The French toast… AMAZING! definitely make sure you have a reservation… Sunday brunch is packed!

    Food and service was great! Started off with the Deviled Eggs with Bacon Jam and Smoked Wings, which were amazing! Added the skillet cornbread to eat with our meal and that was delicious. For our entrees we got the Dirty Chicken which was very tasty (spicy, sweet and crispy). We also got the Beef Short Rib which was just ok, flavorful but slightly dry. Seemed like it was over cooked so I would not get it again the next time I dine here.

    Wife and I had a birthday dinner at Succotash. Was really looking forward to our first experience at Chef Edward Lee's restaurant. We generally enjoyed the Taste of the South. The wings and deviled eggs appys were excellent, as were the catfish, chicken & waffles, and ribs. The hummingbird truffles and pecan pie were also excellent. The Taste of the South was a lot of food for $45/person, a great deal.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Succotash National Harbour for brunch. We ordered the Taste of the South fixed price family style meal and every dish was delicious. We especially enjoyed the deviled eggs and chicken and waffles - some of the best we've had. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were so fluffy, delicious, and buttery tasting and the gravy was smooth, creamy, and full of sausage. We would have enjoyed a bit more spice / flavor in the gravy, though - adding black pepper helped. The collard greens were also great and won over our skeptics who generally don't enjoy them. Very flavorful and tender without being mushy or bitter. The pecan sticky buns were our least favorite part of the meal. Still tasty but they were more similar to cinnamon rolls than what we expected a sticky bun to be. We ordered the cornbread as an extra and it was really good, but the texture was a little bit more dense and wet than we expected. The hot honey drizzled on top was some of the best we've had- spice forward but not too spicy and not too much on the dish. We also ordered the banana pudding which was enjoyed by all. A great ratio of whipped cream to pudding and great flavor. Overall, everyone really enjoyed our meal and the service was attentive and excellent (thank you, Michael!). One thing we all agreed is that we loved the incorporation of Korean ingredients into these traditional southern dishes but felt those elements could be even stronger / more forward. Don't be shy - little bit more Korean spice and flavor coming through would elevate our rating from a 4 to a 5. Looking forward to our next visit!
