Delicious food and great service! Especially enjoyed the branzini, gush of the day. The oysters were great as was the Mac and cheese and collard greens. Do gave the hummingbird cake.

This is my 3rd visit to this location of this restaurant. I find that the constant upsell leaves me with the feeling that whatever we order is insufficient to satisfy the restaurant's need for profit. For example, if we order snacks and entrees, please don't ask us if we want a starter. I understand restaurants need to make money, but if the price you're charging does not allow you to make your profit margin, then charge me what you need and stop questioning my choices. This upsell or meal padding isn't service and puts tremendous pressure on the wait staff. No wonder Americans are gaining weight--they fall for these types of marketing ploys that empty their pockets and gorge their stomachs. That I don't even mention the food should tell you that the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I don’t remember the name of our waitress but she was very pleasant, knew the menu well, attentive and made our experience there very enjoyable.

We set outside to enjoy the weather and people while we ate. The smoked chicken wings were amazing. The deviled eggs with kimchi were surprisingly very good. I woul d order that again for sure. My date had the hamburger with pimento cheese with bacon jam that he enjoyed greatly. The macaroni and cheese had a great consistency and very cheeses but a little oily for my taste.

There was absolutely no healthy options at all— i get that it’s southern, but at least have one salad entree that was moderately healthy. Should have looked at the full menu beforehand. Service was great, setting ambience was great.

I was a little skeptical fiven some of the reviews but it was a good sinig experience overall. I had the chicken and waffles which was plentiful and delicious, while my wife had the shrimp and grits whoch she loved. Finished it off with the banana pudding which was also good. It didn’t have my personal favorite wafers, but they used their homemade wafers which were thin and crispy. Nonetheless I liked the dessert.

My husband and I dined with another couple. It was all of our first time eating here. We arrived about 10 mins past our reservation time. When I checked in I was told they would seat us shortly. We had to ask again about our seats. My shrimp and grits were lukewarm at best, but I was hungry so I ate it. They forgot my friend’s kalette dish. They apologized and offered to give it to her for free, but she was already finished her meal. The meal was decent but we were underwhelmed. I don’t think we’ll be back.
