Everything about the evening dinner was spectacular. One of the best meals and service I’ve ever had. Quaint setting and great attention to detail. Impressive wine and cocktail list. Perfect for a special occasion.

Food and ambiance were great as always but nothing compares to the service, which always leaves us looking forward to our next visit! The manager Michael and our server Antonio took amazing care of us throughout our meal and really made our anniversary dinner memorable. They both provided excellent suggestions, were so kind, and perfectly orchestrated moving our meal along at a natural pace in a thoughtful manner without making us ever feel rushed. We will 100% make sure we ask for Antonio each time we come back! Thank you both!!

The service, including Salvador, was exceptional! The Korean tacos were great. The BLT was lacking in flavor, unfortunately. Drinks, views and ambience were great!

Exceptional dining experience with the most charming ambiance, excellent service and top quality food turned into delicious dishes! Everything we ordered was delicious! Loved the smoked cocktails and table side flambéed filet mignon! Highly recommend for an unforgettable evening and dining experience

We had a beautiful dining experience at The Stonehouse last evening to celebrate a special anniversary. The setting and the gardens were truly magical. A friend had suggested dining on the earlier side so we couple appreciation the grounds and we were so glad that we did! The service was flawless and perfectly timed. We loved the Sweet Potato Mezzaluna, every bite was heaven and ample enough for two to share. The Miso Glazed Black Cod was pricey at $72 😳 but delicious. If you are looking for a high end, very special California dining experience, The Stonehouse at San Ysidro Ranch will not disappoint!

We have been coming to the restaurant for a while. Every time we had a great experience with food and service. Yesterday was a disappointing. I made a reservation more than a month ago. When we arrived there weren’t good tables available . One was on the sun with aggressive flies and the other was inside right in the area where everyone was walking by. Food wasn’t good either. We weren’t finished our appetisers, the table was full with empty dishes and they brought the second course. We had to help them with the empty dishes and clean up space. The waitress wasn’t attentive at all. She looked like she didn’t want to be bothered. It was our anniversary, we were looking forward to have an amazing time and it was a great disappointment. I wish I didn’t have to write this, however I think those issues have to be addressed.
