Our menu features Rustic Italian Recipes, Thin Crust Pizzas & Fresh Pastas. Stoneground Italian is located downtown in a second-story loft overlooking the architecturally acclaimed Salt Lake City Public Library. Since opening in 2000, owner Bob McCarthy has been cooking up a dining experience that’s warm, welcoming and firmly planted in his Irish-Italian roots. He takes a simple approach to serving delicious food: always fresh and house-made.
The environment at Stoneground is cool and casual; some describe it as a rustic/urban vibe. You’ll feel comfortable dressed as you are. The window tables have mesmerizing views and are ideal for intimate dining occasions. The outdoor deck seats about 40-people and is the go-to spot for your fair weather celebrations. Been here a few times for business dinners - very "allergen friendly" with a variety of options! Would go back; worth a visit in SLC

Was a great location across from SLC Library. It is quaint space. The ambiance if other respected the beauty of the atmosphere thst they designed and settings would have been perect. Just was loud couldnt hear conversations at our table. Waitress was fantastic, Food fantastic!

My wife and I have been going here for years. Tonight we had a group of eight from work and everyone loved it! Half the table got the lasagna and couldn’t stop taking about how good it was, we all ate too much because it was so good. I would highly recommend Stoneground Kitchen!

As always, a fantastic dinner experience!! We ordered a nice glass of wine and a cocktail, had the beet salad to start, and then both ordered the lobster pasta dish, as it is to die for!! Our server was the best as well, with great suggestions for us! Love this place...always a perfect evening!

Lovely ambience here and the food was excellent. While I waited was at attentive when he did come by, we felt like he left us sitting for a little too long. However, great meal and really like this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday. Had the Arincina and Burattta for starters and lasagna, ravioli, and the salmon special. All excellent! The service was excellent, with our server being knowledgeable and attentive but not interrupting too much. Had a couple of really good bottles of wine. She was very knowledgeable about the wine list as well. Overall, it was a wonderful dinner and experience! We'll be back soon!

Close to the University of Utah with parking in the rear. This is one of our go tos when we come to SLC. The pastas are made in house. We have had a lot on the menu and every dish has been outstanding. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Easy to make reservations and I would recommend doing that if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night. Well worth the visit.
