Been years since my last visit… possibly over 10! Still a great atmosphere with great service provided by “Perry M” and team. I think I just chose the wrong things since for the most part I was underwhelmed and/or maybe my expectations were too high. The simple bibb salad was unmemorable. The few leaves of bibb lettuce were huge and the tomatoes, green olive and onions added little to the mix. The dressing was quite good. Wish they had better side-salad options to choose from. The black mussels and jumbo shrimp, shared as an appetizer was the highlight of the meal! Good sized, fresh mussels. Nice large shrimp. And a delicious mild curry broth. Only negative: just two small slices of bread which was not enough to soak up the extra broth left on the plate! While a recommendation, the sous vide short rib was just not to my liking. The chimichuri was just far too garlicky and overpowering for the rather small piece of meat. Over 5 hours later and that taste is still not out of my mouth. Had I had the mussels and shrimp as my entree and chosen a different appetizer in place of the simple bibb salad, I’m sure I would have had an entirely different opinion. The fourth star is for that portion of the meal. I’d have no issue returning. Far too many positive points to let a couple bad choices keep me away. The parking in that area these days, however, is another story! I miss the years I could just pull up a block or two from Hattie’s and usually have no problem finding a spot!

You can't go wrong with the whipped feta and/or crab fried spaghetti. Please do yourself a favor, make reservations and go. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch.

We love Stock & Barrel! It’s our go to nearly every Friday we are in town for happy hour drinks and apps. We love the staff, food, and drinks! The full menu is also incredible - hard to find something you won’t absolutely love!!

Hosting an event that was def overcoming them which left little time for people with 4 persons reservations Staff was visibly stressed and scarce …. Ran out of dishes and cups so things asked for , such as water , were told they would get it later because the event they were hosting made them run out of cups Food took over an hour Drinks not refilled Soft drinks came to table in small cocktail cups due to running out of glasses and during an hour and half time of being there never refilled . Poor experience especially when you choose the place for a special occasion yourself and picked their menu because of the things they offer were unique and met the dietary needs of our party.
