Stella Mare’s Restaurant is host to rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthdays, and holiday celebrations, as well as corporate luncheons and dinners. We accommodate private parties of 10 to 130 guests.

They conveniently moved us to a quieter table after we requested to be moved from the noisy dining area in the covered patio to indoors.

We went for my wife's birthday and they seated us in a far off corner of the restaurant. Having been there before, and having made a reservation, we expected a very nice table but they advised that was the best they could offer. Passing by the door to the restroom, they left a cleaning bucket and mop in open view and that was just unexpected and made us wonder about their cleanliness. The food was very average and we won't be back.

We have been coming here for years and it always OUTSTANDING!!! Food was wonderful, service was impeccable - ambiance great . . . . . . what a shame that Santa Barbara is going to replace this landmark.

An excellent restaurant all the way around. I'm so sorry they are having to relocate at the end of the year from their very special space. I hope they are able to continue at another location.

My table of four have a lovely lunch every Thursday and stay afterwards to play bridge for about an hour and a half the staff there are so congenial and wonderful and they go out of their way to make us feel happy

Stella Mares is my favorite French Restaurant in the Santa Barbara area. Would definitely recommend being seated in the Greenhouse. The wine list for single glasses leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is amazing.

The ambience is very relaxing. We sat in the conservatory area for brunch and there was a fireplace. I enjoyed the œufs mimosa de homard and the confit de canard - both were delicious. I also enjoyed a kir royale. I hope the restaurant is able to remain open into next year.
