Since opening in 2014, he’s won over Seattle diners with dishes like chili cumin pork ribs, fried master stock chicken, and crispy duck fresh rolls. The cocktails feature Southeast Asian ingredients like galangal and lime leaf. Stateside is conveniently located on lower Capitol Hill within a short walk of the Convention Center, the Paramount theater and downtown. Whenever we want to enjoy a delicious dinner without any disappointments, we choose to dine at Stateside, which never lets us down. Everything from the drinks to the quality of the food, and even the dessert, is excellent. I truly appreciate how welcoming the staff of Stateside make us feel. I love dining at this restaurant.

this was my 2nd visit this summer to Stateside to introduce my friends to the restaurant. It did not disappoint and the food & service were great. Everything is built to share and we ordered 3 small plates - crispy mushroom fresh rolls, tomato salad, and the crispy garlic prawns and cocktails (Paloma, passionfruit sour and a specialty old fashioned). Then 2 entries - rockfish with rice noodles and beef shank. the beef was fall off the bone tender and the rockfish dish with its pile of fresh herbs was tender. All the spices and seasonings were spot on. The dishes came out fast and our waiter was so attentive stopping by several times to check-in. My friends and I will definitely be back soon. We also got to peek in on their 'secret' bar - foreign national. unfortunately, we didn't have time to stop and enjoy this trip. back soon to both!

Consistently, one of the best restaurants in Seattle. The food is spectacular and every bite is a surprise. For what you get, this restaurant is a bargain!

We highly recommend Stateside. There were inspiring options for vegans and omnivores. So, it’s a great spot for groups with differing dietary preferences. We had the beet salad with an amazing cilantro-peanut chutney (it was even delicious without the chutney, which just took it to an even higher level), crispy and unctuous duck spring rolls, comforting pumpkin curry, and deeply flavorful goat curry. The atmosphere was clean and warmly welcoming. Marcus was a perfectly attentive host. Expert hospitality seems to come naturally to him. He’s the server we hope for when we dine out.

Every item on the menu appealed to us and what we decided on was delicious!! Server was gracious and helpful with suggestions. They were very thorough with food allergy concerns as well.
