Starry Night Café located in a lovely countryside setting is the perfect location to host a memorable event, such as a wedding rehearsal dinner, holiday or company party. With three separate dining rooms as well as extensive outer grounds, Starry Night Cafe offers a fantastic array of both private dining and slightly more casual settings. In the warmer months, the newly renovated outside setting is perfect for catering larger events, ceremonies or an intimate evening stroll. From the unique setting, exceptional service and sensational food and drinks, the Starry Night Cafe offers the perfect package for creating a truly memorable event, large or small!As a basic framework, our 'Function Package' usually consists of the following: "Cocktail Hour" with array of passed hors d'oeuvres Optional style of bar (wine & beer / signature cocktails) Sit down to a specialized Abridged Menu

The entire evening was delightful. We sat outside by the pond for dinner. Service, atmosphere and food were outstanding!

Beautiful day so got to sit outside with flowers and trees on patio. Servers were pleasant, helpful and attentive. Menu variety perfect size with traditional main choices but the surprise is the preparation, saucing, and spicing. A considered but comprehensive wine and beverage offering. Certainly a top 10 establishment in Vermont and a top 10 dining experience for us.

The steak tartare appetizer and Stripped Bass entree were superbly prepared and delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The overall ambiance was quiet and relaxing.

Went early, sat by a window with a beautiful view. Ambience is amazing, very comfortable and welcoming. Staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful; very knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make suggestions. Everyone seems excited to serve you an amazing meal! Last time we were there the chef came out to personally ask our opinion of a new dish we had ordered, and was genuinely elated when we told him how much we enjoyed it. And the food - is - spectacular! Wonderful dishes with amazing combinations of flavors. We've had fish dishes, chicken, steak, and pork; they have all exceeded expectations. Each time we go seems somehow even better than the last. Menu changes seasonally, so there are always new things to try. Only complaint is that the menu online is not always updated. We have gotten excited about something we saw online only to find a different menu when we arrived. Still never been disappointed by the choices!

Starry Night Cafe is a hidden gem and arguably the best restaurant in Vermont! The food, drinks and service are all amazing. I always try to come here when visiting friends/family in Vermont. If you haven't been and are in the area you must go!

This is a wonderful spot with outstanding service. The only reason I failed to give it a 5 star is that my wild Alaskan Salmon was not that. I know wild Alaskan salmon well and this was farmed salmon - very tasty - but not wild. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Outstanding service. Duck was wonderful. Delicious cocktails. Lovely setting.

Top notch meal with a service team that was on point! Our meals were all divine. Don’t miss the coal roasted veggie appetizer.

Some of the best food we can remember! The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. Although the room was full, the noise level was reasonable given the number of people. Roasted vegetables and warm olives to start, all superb. And the bread was astoundingly good. Our pasta dishes were equally good, in such generous portions that we brought some home! Will definitely be back!
