With three separate dining rooms as well as extensive outer grounds, Starry Night Cafe offers a fantastic array of both private dining and slightly more casual settings. In the warmer months, the newly renovated outside setting is perfect for catering larger events, ceremonies or an intimate evening stroll. Hands down the best garden salad I ever had. The rest of the food was also outstanding, but that salad? Unbelievably good.

The food here is always excellent. But there were too few entrée choices, and of the few choices, at least two were unavailable/sold out (we went on a Sunday night). I had to make an alternate selection. The cocktail my partner ordered was good but way too small for the $18 price tag. I ended up with the lasagna and it was great, albeit not my first choice. My partner had the beef and it was excellent also, as an $80 steak should be. We shared dessert but they were out of vanilla ice cream and substituted 2 different flavors—without asking. Normally none of this would be bothersome but at these prices you do expect near perfection. I’ve eaten here many times in the past and the food always comes through. Maybe Sunday nights aren’t the best night to go if it’s been a busy weekend? I’d eat there again but definitely check the menu first.

Our first time at Starry Night, and it was just wonderful. The servers were helpful and professional, and at the same time warm and engaging and sometimes funny. An enjoyable part of the whole experience! We ordered only appetizers since they all seemed so interesting; my wife and I often eat this way in restaurants so we can try as many things as possible. Every single thing we tasted was excellent. The shaved horseradish with the oysters was delightful. The only improvement I would suggest is upgraded the wine by the glass selection. We sampled a few and by and large we thought they were mediocre; we should have bought a decent bottle. But here too, we like to try different things, so a more eclectic and varied wine by the glass menu suits folks like us, who are willing to pay more for quality. You can always leave a few less expensive wines, but I'd be happy to pay $15 or $18 and get something really good.
