Stable Café is open from 4PM to 8pm daily for guests of Biltmore Estate.

Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. Dinner menu is a three-course, prefix menu.

The convenient location next to Biltmore House, friendly hospitality, and delectable food make the Stable Café a popular stop after visits to the house and gardens. The ambiance of the historic surroundings in the renovated stable complex is unmatched.

    We reserved a table for 4 at 8pm and were immediately seated in one of the private horse stalls, which was super fun! Our waiter was attentive and charming. The price point was somewhere between $60-$80 for each of us, depending on our entree of choice. I ordered the pork chop and I have to say, it was THE BEST chop I have ever eaten. Our table also ordered the salmon and mushroom risotto. All delish! The experience was definitely worth the cost! I highly recommend!

    As a fan of visiting the Biltmore, the Stable Cafe is my choice for a fabulous dining experience. The staff is beyond helpful and very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Was superior!! Sorry I don’t remember his name. Thank you Biltmore for another special memory.

    We arrived @ 7:45pm, at our reservation time and immediately taken to our booth. All staff were polite and helpful, our food was delicious as were our drinks - both being delivered promptly and our waitress was quite helpful, cheerful and efficient. 5 Stars!

    Pretty pricey and few choices for dinner. You have to choose a 3 course meal. The Short Ribs were great but the Salmon was average. The atmosphere is beautiful so you just enjoy being at The Biltmore House.

    We generally visit the Stable Cafe at lunch when they have more variety on the menu. It is a beautiful and unique venue. Dinner was a bit pricey, and last night the menu was limited. We saw a family with small children leave when they saw the prices. The entrees were very good, but the bisque lacked salt and was too thick. In fact, I would say they forgot the salt altogether. I am not someone who salts my food at the table. My husband was very happy with his Caesar Salad. I ordered the cheesecake tart, and it had apple compote on top. It was extremely sweet because it contained more sweet apple pie filling and whip cream than cheesecake.

    This was our second time dining at Stable Cafe during the 2024 holiday season. We were lucky to celebrate three birthdays between two very special dinners. The short rib was amazing. Th mushroom risotto was very good and he duck leg was outstanding!

    As always, excellent wait staff! As a chef myself, the food here is amazing with such great flavors, presentation, and fresh ingredients. Family enjoyed the annual trip to candlelight Christmas and dinner. Happy holidays and we will continue as we have for many years supporting the preservation and even more so now the recovery of that area!

    This was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The short ribs were awesome! Our server was Jackie and she was fantastic. She had great meal recommendations and was so quick and efficient. It was an enjoyable night all around.
