The restaurant treated this single diner very well, even on a very busy Sunday night. I never felt rushed -- as I was able to savor a Sakura Martini (the limoncello makes it dangerously delicious), take my time with a couple of East Coast oysters and then a couple of West Coast oysters, enjoy a preview taste of a very good Cotes du Rhone, and then demolish their version of Steak Frites. The top sirloin was perfectly medium rare, the fries were truffled, and the arugula salad a welcome counterpoint. Server Paxton somehow included welcome conversation despite the dinnertime crush.

Staff was very good, but the kitchen was having severe problems. Server implied they were having a meltdown in the kitchen, and the food would be very slow. Ended up being over an hour for basic breakfast. Unfortunate, since Boulderado is one of my favorite places to hang out and eat/drink when I come into town. Generally Spruce and Cornerbar are solid, hope they fix the issues.

Spruce Farm and Fish is my favorite restaurant. We had the summer sea scallops which were served beautifully and tasted fabulous. Great wine selection, wonderful servers, and very reasonable prices.

They might have been having an off day. The were very busy and backed up.

Was sitting at table for about 15 minutes, no server. So I asked a waiter who was passing by to have a waiter come to our table. A minute later our waiter arrived, said he didn't see us sitting at table. We placed our order - 45 minutes later still no food. Also no one came by to fill our water glasses or ask us how we were doing. When I inquired about our food it arrived a minute later, was stone cold and they got my meal wrong. Waiter said he would take the tea off our tab for getting my meal wrong. I usually get great service and food from this restaurant so my friend and I were sorely disappointed.

I was in town to visit my niece and wanted to take her out for a nice dinner. We had a wonderful experience! The wine recommendation was perfect, appetizers were delicious (cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, tuna tartare) and the salmon was perfectly prepared- crispy on the outside but not overcooked. The espresso martini was excellent. I would recommend and will return on a future trip.

Our server, Venessa, was very nice, punctual, and gave us time to catch up with our daughter, as we hadn’t seen her since we dropped her off at CU Boulder in August for her first year of College. The food was very delicious and served at the correct temperatures. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and experience at Spruce Farm & Fish and would recommend it to anyone.
