The main courses were delicious. Drinks were great. Service was slow. The desserts were awful. Our waiter asked us how they were and we told him.after he raved about them. I thought he would at least take one off of our bill

The staff is very accommodating, they have a very good understanding of making food safe for celiac diners, which might mean omitting some ingredients or recommending a different selection. It is now clear that some dishes I used to have there are not actually gluten-free (an important distinction).

We waited 15 minutes before my husband went to the bar to get our cocktails. Only water was served in that time. Chris assured us he would get our drinks and was attentive all night. He also brought us a complimentary dessert wine as an apology for the poor service which he attributed to the restaurant being busy. We wanted the New York steak but they said they were sold out!? At 6:30 on a Saturday evening? The salads were delicious and substantial. We were not asked how we liked our steak and the rib eye came very rare.

My wife requested "no pink", they brought her a pink steak (not a little, it was bordering on medium rare. They did cook further, but shouldn't have sent a "pink steak". Still water being poured into our sparkling water. Butternut squash was "al dente" (which it shouldn't have been). 3 different types of steak: 6/10, meh flavor, not super hot Brussel sprouts: 10/10 Butternut squash Risotto: too sweet and was "al dente" Focaccia Bread: dried out Pinot Noir: 10/10 Our waitress was great, very kind. Nice interior, but was too chily (mid-50s that evening....and the door were all open for some reason, they did close upon request)

Dinner was a mixed bag. We had an excellent, experienced server, then there were other servers who seemed inexperienced and kind of confused about what they needed to do. Mediterranean chopped was good Enough for two to share. Husband’s entre was very good (pork loin) and my duck with pasta was very good and quite generous. Wine (Pinot) was very good. No dessert.

The Harvest Dinner was amazing food and wine pairing experience. Our server Trey was excellent too.

OMG. Mateo is the best! The food was amazing and the wine pairing was spot on. We could not have asked for a better meal.

We really enjoyed the cocktails and range of options on the menu. The apps and portions were perfect and the plating was also creative and appealing.

We dined fairly early and were alone in the venue for most of our meal. The service was lovely, the food inconsistent. The salad was delightful, the tuna app acceptable, but the main course was heavy, dense and a strange preparation of Halibut (cooked to dryness) wrapped in overdone prociutto and served atop fennel so tough it couldn’t be cut with a knife. We appreciated the service and the moody decor,— but some of the food selections need an upgrade!
