Le Sparks Steak House a été ouvert en 1966 par Michael et Pasquale Cetta, d'où le logo «Cetta Brothers Steak Masters». Le restaurant est toujours une entreprise familiale, située dans le centre de Manhattan, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare Grand Central et des Nations Unies. Horrible experience! Hector was rude and curt in tone. Dismissive to questions about oz size of steaks and undercooked food. Ordered Salmon well done which was undercooked and cold in the middle. Steak Formaggio was rare when ordered medium and when brought to server attention he came and dropped a plate of potatoes on our table rather than trying to rectify the uncooked food. Pecan pie was served cold and crumbly, never welcomed us to the restaurant made us feel uncomfortable by standing 3 feet from the table and watching us eat. For 200++ dollars I would never return and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Always a great time at Sparks. It’s a must stop every time I visit NYC. Great food ambiance and impeccable service. Old-school, classic NYC steakhouse.

Very disappointing. Candidly, given all the great choices in NY, I’m surprised they are still in business. Food was mediocre. Tough, poor quality meat. Uninspired, flavorless preparation. Dreadfully tired decor/ environment. Service was fine but couldn’t make up for overall experience.

Our group of 10 people enjoyed our meal at Sparks. We all had a great time, relishing the old time NY Steakhouse. The decor is ole time NYC and we thought the food was very good; particularly the filet mignon. We'll be back.

Great experience from beginning to end. Food was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. We had desert also and the cheesecake was spectacular. Our server was amazing and treated us with great respect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would love to return in the future.

My granddaughter said best steak she ever had. Our waiter who was from Argentina and had worked there for decades was wonderful.
