It had a great time at Sparkill Steakhouse, the steak was prepared well and the services was absolutely outstanding. I come here a few times a year and they never disappoint. This occasion was to celebrate a birthday and we had the Surf and Turf. I highly recommend this dish, one of my favorites. Filet cooked to order and a Lobster Tail cooked to perfection. Paired with a wonderful glass of wine and cocktails (espresso martini - you can't go wrong). If you are in the area - this place is worth the trip.

NYC steakhouse quality right here in Rockland at much more reasonable price. Had the surf and turf. Both lobster and filet cooked to perfection. Awesome chopped salad to start, which my wife and I shared while friends shared a way to large order of excellent fried calamari. Great wine list with excellent labels at reasonable prices. My go to restaurant in Rockland

This was our third visit, and the food and service get better each time! Porterhouse for two, mashed potatoes, peas and onions - enough leftovers for two more meals! Crème Brûlée for shared dessert was excellent! We will definitely come back for more experiences!

On a scale of 1-10 12 Raw Oysters - 10. But had to request the minonette as it wasn’t on the platter. By the time it arrived we were half done. Petite Filet Mignon - 10 Rib Eye Steak - 10 Chopped Caesar Salad -8. Dressings a but too mustardy. Still very good though. Cocktail - Gibson was ordered very dry. Tasted like they added some pickled onion juice. You should not taste the onions when sipping the cocktail. Was going to order a second but decided not to. House Cab Sav was very nice. We sat in the bar area at a high top. The staff was somewhat disorganized as we were being tended to by about 4 different gentlemen asking the same questions repeatedly. We will definitely be going back but ordering with a bit more specificity.

It was a quiet night. We normally went to other area steakhouses over and over, and we are sorry we never were here before. The food was excellent, excellent provisions, the sides were large and delicious. Only complaint is the service was not attentive at all. Food was presented well, but with a quiet night and a lot of help available they were truly disappointing. We moved from the area but next time we are around we will come back.
