Just blocks around the corner from Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and the Tampa Theater, the Spain Restaurant and Toma Tapas Bar is the perfect place to be before or after a show.

We offer Live Music every Friday and Saturday nights.

Authentic Flamenco Dinners show is at 8pm the last Saturday of each month.

This was our first time dining at Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar. We ordered 3 tapas accompanied by red sangria. The food was all delicious. We had the steak and mushrooms tapa, the scallops and cheese sauce tapa and vegetarian paella. Service was welcoming and timely. It's a little noisy but that just adds positive energy. We would highly recommend!

Always a great experience, love the ambiance and the music and the service is always great. Hard to find authentic Spanish cuisine like my Abuela’s but every time I’ve been here it takes me back.

Delicious food, great service, eight people in our group, though large group we had great service from a young lady can’t recall her name! But it was pricey!

Such a wonderful meal, sampled 8 tapas dishes, really liked the chicken, octopus and chorizo dishes, are server Suni was amazing!!

Paella had no crispy rice but plentiful seafood. Meal pacing was awkward for party of 8 with soups and tapas served first even tho some only had entrees. Would have appreciated it if asked about when soup/tapas only people wanted it to be served.

Service was subpar, food ok quality but too pricey !! Tapas 18-22$, rice and ropa vieja ( cuban NOT Spain ) 30$ insane. Few tapas and chicken nuggets for 2 kids 350$ Sangria so diluted I believed was mixed with water. Definitely not recommend it .

Sangria was delicious. Soup was hearty and good, if lacking seasoning. Although the paella had a lot of meat and seafood in it, I thought the rice was a little soggy and the calamari was fishy. The muscles that were included were not open at all so I couldnt eat them. I thought a Spanish restaurant should take more care in preparing their specialty dish.

We asked the server what was the best thing on the menu, she said the “seafood Paela”. We ordered 6 of those along with other plates. It took 45 mins for the food to come, when the food came it was horrible! Small plate, no taste, 70% of the dish was muscles and clams! We literally had to put a lot of hot sauce with salt & pepper just to get some flavor. We all left hungry!
