                                      The venue was beautiful, the service great! They did not rush you! Enjoyed the food.

                                      Ordered the Alfredo with chicken and swordfish with truffled mashed potatoes. Swordfish was perfect. Mashed lacked any truffle flavor and we weren’t sure if they were instant or fresh. The Alfredo had good flavor but clearly made far in advance so that while sitting under the warmer it congealed into a solid lump. Saw the waitstaff only three times and she basically walked off before we finished talking. It’s nice by the beach and the menu reads well but was not great for the prices.

                                      We had a great time at Southernmost Beach Cafe. The service we received from Diane was exceptional. The food was very good (highlighted by the blackened swordfish). The location and view right on the beach cannot be beat. We would definitely return if in Key West again.

                                      Our server was very good. We were disappointed in the food. We both ordered fettuccine Alfredo (one with chicken and one with shrimp). The sauce was disappointing and flavorless and the noodles had a flour taste. The salad was very good. The soup of the day (poblano) was satisfactory.

                                      Service was lacking. Ordered bread but it never came, but I got a $4 charge for it which they reversed. Steak was fattey and undercooked. Seafood fra diavola was not spicy at all. Said it included clams but rather they added mussels. Overall it was OK but not worth the price.

                                      Food was average. Nice view but the sun doesn’t set over the water here. At least in March. Also service was slow.

                                      Our food was very tasty but the real draw of this restaurant is the beautiful location, built on the sand with a clear view of the water. So pretty and relaxing!
