Occupant l'ancien bâtiment de la Brewing Association, le Southerleigh doit son nom à la brise dominante du Golfe ainsi qu'à un fier sentiment d’appartenance à la côte du Texas. Il sert la cuisine interculturelle de cet État, réinterprétée avec une touche de modernité par le chef Jeff Balfour. La brasserie sur place propose un menu tournant avec une gamme de recettes originales ainsi que des bières artisanales en brassin du maître-brasseur des Locke.

Ian was our wait person and he made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The baked oysters were great, the Autumn Salad was amazing. So fresh I could eat it every day. We had the grouper and it was delicious as well and we topped it off with the Banana pudding cake. A must have when you visit Southerleigh.

Oysters on half shell, calamari, Caesar, fried chicken, home lite beer and Pinot Grigio. Oysters were pretty small, calamari uses light tomato sauce dip that’s a change but well done, Caesar was fresh and tasty, fried chicken was… kinda greasy. This pressure method is effective, but not a light or crunchy batter. Two of us ordered and we enjoyed but wouldn’t choose this prep for amount of grease feel. Wine was nice and beer was light mexicannlager type which was ok. Decor is incredible, service was very attentive and pleasant but we waited for couple items or were presented with crackers for oysters in a frame for 8 or 10 minutes prior to oyster, so what do you do? Entire Pearl is pretty vibrant mix use area connected to river walk, though totally different riverwalk vibe.

Great food and service. Seated promptly and server tried to close curtains to keep sun from blinding one of our party. They don’t close. Try to get a table away from window and front door. I booked reservation a month ago and was seated in the worst table. Windy day and people kept leaving door open. I will request away from door next time n

Ordered the steak mid rare. Received it well done and too salty. Mac and cheese came out cold and had to be redone. Pretzel app was not fresh; it was stale. Disappointing for a Michelin star restaurant. Have gone to dozens of Michelin star restaurants; first negative review.

We had a range of the apps, drinks, and entree selections, all were great. Service was great, entrees came out after a pronged wait but all else top notch. Would be a regular if I lived close.

Great sitting outside with our pup! The food was delicious and the service spot on! John was an excellent server.

Old fashion drinks were a great start at the bar before seating. Staff was cheerful and engaging. Steak cooked perfectly and loved the side of jalapeño grits! Wife enjoyed the quail and fermented onions! Overall a great anniversary getaway at the Pearl!

When making reservations, I did not realize it was a Michelin rated Bib Gourmand restaurant. Southerleigh is located in the distinctive Pearl District. The Pearl is a beautiful district in Downtown San Antonio with many great food options. We sat outside in their courtyard, which is lovely. We had quite a bit of wind, but that didn't hurt our experience. It actually felt cooler inside. In the months to come, inside will be the place to be. We had a couple of different beers which were fine. I am a fan of beers on Nitro and was happy they had one. For starters we had the Iced Shrimp and Wood Fired Pretzel, both were great. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was unique and quite tasty. We did not venture too deep into the main courses as we both had the Cracker Crusted Gulf Red Fish which I enjoyed immensely. The Jalapeno Cheddar Grits were an excellent choice for a side to pair with the fish. It was not crowded at all. so when the server entered our drink order, they magically appeared at our table as the server walked away, Brilliant! Can't wait to go back. Apparently there is a Monday Movie night in the Pearl Courtyard that outdoor dining borders. There were lots of folks out there and kids running around. The movie last night was A League of Their Own. It may not be the ideal setting for some, but it was fine for us. It was a very nice evening. Thank you Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery
