Au South Edison, vous profiterez d'un menu débordant de fruits de mer locaux et de produits frais. Le chef et partenaire Todd Mitgang qui a développé le menu créatif original et le chef exécutif Frank Fuschetto continuent d'élaborer de nouveaux plats pour complémenter les favoris de leurs clients. Frank a été chef pâtissier au South Edison et à son restaurant apparenté, le Bo’s Kitchen & Bar Room, à New York, et a reçu des critiques dithyrambiques. Cet été, il montre qu'il sait aussi impressionner avec des plats salés aussi succulents que ses créations sucrées. Dirigez-vous en direction de la plage pour essayer l'excellent bar à aliments crus, une vaste sélection de vins et de bières, et les fameux Martinis Pickle maison, garnis de cornichons provenant de producteurs locaux. Les cocktails sont originaux et permettent d'entamer une belle soirée tout en fraîcheur. Après le souper, laissez-vous tenter par les formidables desserts. Along with a Live Painting by Jo Jerusalem! ***PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE RESERVING YOUR TABLE*** This is not a ticketed event but reservations are required, with a minimum spend of $50 pp for food & drink that is required. Any reservations canceled less than 72 hours of event will be charged $50 pp as space is extremely limited. Without a reservation, we can not guarantee entry or accommodations due to limited capacity. This will be a dining experience with appearances by Jason & Blaine. Amazing sweet waitress. Kitchen & Bar were not only slow but the quality was awful. Returned the fries for being soggy, black & blue scallops were awful, fluke app was good. Drinks don’t come until after we finished apps. Waited an hour for sub par scallops. Told waitress to run my card before bill came she helped me bounce. I feel bad for paying $180 all in. You live & learn I guess

Food and service were outstanding, accommodating 2 young children. Tuna cerviche, scallops, oysters and shrimp particularly delicious. Love the oyster shooters.

It’s been very easy to get reservations South Edison this summer, even on a Saturday night so we were a bit concerned about that. There aren’t too many restaurants in Mtk. But, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. They do a great job with the veggies that accompany the mains. We were also pleasantly surprised that the buffalo cauliflower wasn’t deep fried and it was a nice twist to have baby cauliflower. The biggest negative is that there is almost nothing on the menu for a vegan. Our daughter is allergic to milk and vegan, so there was only one main for her, a pasta that could be made vegan. It was a nice dish, but it would be nice to have other options. Another missing thing in the menu is that there are no starches served with the mains and no sides … potatoes or rice that u could order to accompany the main. There’s also no bread available. There are lots of people who don’t do starches, but for someone like my husband whose veggie repertoire is limited he was a bit hungry and would have enjoyed a starch with his meal. My husband and I had the fluke and the scallops. The fish and scallops were fresh. The fluke lacked some flavor. It could have had a bit more robust seasoning. Overall it was a good experience. Our server was attentive and kind. We will return, but probably not with our daughter, unless she wants to have the same exact meal again. It was a pretty basic pasta with a red sauce and I think some eggplant. It was fine, but not exceptional in a way that you would be dying to have the same dish again soon.

Delicious food, beautifully plated. Great cocktail selections: Oh So Sexy was just about the best tequila-based concoction I’ve ever imbibed. Wine list was small but well-curated and fairly priced. The small issue we had was with the bar service: our appetizers arrived before our cocktails. A glass of wine ordered with the entree never arrived. Also, and this is a personal but major pet peeve — the restaurant has NO bread. Not even if you’re willing to pay for it. Which I find totally flabbergasting as well as annoying. But again, I truly enjoyed the food and beverages we ordered. Highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Montauk, NY.
